Dikлиi Manor is an old possession of the von der Palenov family. The earliest information about the history of the Dikлиi estate has been preserved since the beginning of the 15th century.
The current neo-baroque building of the Dikлиi estate was built in 1869, the original interior has been preserved here – luxurious fireplaces and tiled stoves, stairs and parquet, wall panels and other elements.
Dikli is known as the place where the traditions of the Latvian theater and the song festival were born – here in 1818 the first theatrical performance in Latvian was shown – the play “The Robbers” by F. Schiller, and in 1864 the first Song Festival organized by the priest and writer Juris came here Naken.
Dikli Manor is open for inspection, it also has a hotel, restaurant and leisure complex. Near the Dikлиi estate there are farm buildings and a park.

Thanks to the talented chef Janis Silins, the Dikļi Palace restaurant was recognized as truly exceptional. The prestigious White Guide Nordic 2018 has awarded it the 9th place among Latvian restaurants in the Fine category level, while it also takes 10th place in Latvian Top 30 Excellence.
